LOS ANGELES - Held on Saturday, August 26th, 2023, at The Belasco in Downtown LA, The 2023 West Coast Awards Ball was a beautiful ball that attracted many competitors and spectators from around the world. With Icon Darryl Garçon as the ball’s DJ, I knew an awesome night was ahead!

Before the ball began, Masters of the Ceremony Icon Jack Mizrahi Gorgeous Gucci, and Enyce Cozy Gorgeous Gucci kicked off the evening by presenting the OTY (Of The Year) awards. They then immediately followed with a star studded LSS.
LSS (Legends, Statements, & Stars)
After getting the crowd going with LSS, Jack Called out the Ball producers, Icon Devine Gorgeous Gucci, and New Overall Mother Legendary Dolores Ninja.
Icon Devine is joined by her biological family and her Gucci family as she's presented a surprise award
WITH THE HOUSE OF NINJA LOUDLY CHEERING HER ON, LEGENDARY Dolores was crowned the New Overall Mother of the house of ninja!
Then it was time to acknowledge community leaders and helpers, including awarding biological mothers of Ballroom figures, and deeming the next batch of Legends and Icons.
The queen mother award was given to biological mothers who support their lgbtq offspring
SHAY “QUEEN Mother of la" Ebony is acknowledged as an icon. This deeming was definitely long overdue!
Deeming New Icons and Legends, and acknowledging the piLlars of the community

Rome ebony took home the ota performance $3,000 grand prize, after Battling formidable opponents such as Destiny Ninja and more!
