SAN DIEGO, CA - San Diego's Ballroom scene reached a new milestone with the highly anticipated C.R.E.A.M. Ball, the city’s first-ever mainstream ballroom event. Held on January 25, 2025, the ball was hosted by WestCoast Mother Queen Staxx Ebony and Tory (formerly of the House of Ebony), who were also celebrating their birthdays, making the night even more special!
In the weeks leading up to the event, Queen Staxx, Tory, and I, held a livestream, setting high expectations for excellence and emphasizing the significance of bringing a mainstream ballroom experience to San Diego.
Those expectations were not only met but exceeded, as performers and attendees experienced an unforgettable night of competition, energy, and community.
Performers delivered electrifying talent, blending authenticity with dynamic creativity, while the crowd cheered on. The competition was fierce, with participants bringing their best looks, confidence, and charisma to the runway.
The C.R.E.A.M. Ball marked a historic moment for San Diego’s ballroom community, opening the door for future events in the city.
