Atlanta, GA — On August 31st, 2025, The ballroom community gathered at The Morrow Center in Morrow, Georgia, for one of the year’s most anticipated events: The Redefinition of the Doll House, the 50th anniversary celebration of the Iconic House of Chanel.

With its trademark blend of elegance and spectacle, the House of Chanel marked five decades of influence in ballroom culture, transforming The Morrow Center into a playground of inspiration. Competitors from around the world battled it out for the $50,000 grand prize attached to the event’s #RoadTo50K theme.

During the Grand March, founder RR Chanel electrified the room, declaring, “This is history in the making — no other house has given $50,000 for the house with the most trophies.” That statement set the tone for a night of fierce competition and unforgettable performances.

As the categories wrapped and trophies were tallied, it was the House of West that emerged victorious, capturing the most points and walking away with the full $50,000 prize.

The evening honored Chanel’s enduring legacy while showcasing the next generation of ballroom stars.
